F. Gualdi – Abstract

The article presents an analysis of works of the 15th century painters Domenico and Orazio Alfani from Perugia, in order to acquire a better knowledge of the “maniera umbra”. This study gives new evidence on the influence of Venetian and Raphael styles and of classical ideas both in their painting and graphics.
